Madden NFL 21: The Week 17 Roster Update Is Here!

As it happens every week, EA Sports has already introduced the roster update corresponding to week 17 to Madden NFL 21.

These updates are made based on the performance of the players of the 32 teams in the league, including injuries. Logically, these are updates exclusively intended to modify the attributes of the players and do not include any other significant changes to the gameplay.

In addition, it should be noted that the update is now available on all platforms, including previous generation consoles: PS4 and Xbox One.

Devante Adams joins the 99 Club.

The latest Madden NFL 21 roster update left us with a new member of the 99 Club: Devante Adams. The packers’ WR had an excellent performance in his team’s victory against the Tennessee Titans with a total of 11 receptions that meant 142 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Green Bay team.

With this increase, Adams joins Patrick Mahomes, Stephon Gilmore, Aaron Donald, Travis Kelce and Deandre Hopkins as the players with the most points in the entire game, although this is something that varies on a weekly basis and will surely be joined by other players in the future.

Christian McCaffrey goes down.

As a negative aspect of this update we must highlight the decrease of Christian McCaffrey to 98 points. The Panthers RB no longer belongs to Madden NFL 21’s 99 Club.

McCaffrey has been injured since December and has not been a key part of his team since then, so EA Sports decided to remove him from the 99 Club, lowering his OVR to 98 points. Will he come back when he recovers? We will have to see it, although it will not be soon.

Logically, most players who have received a boost in this update will increase their price in the Madden Ultimate Team transfer market so you will need a good amount of coins to get the Adams card, for example.

However, you can always buy Madden Coins online and quickly gather all the coins you need to add the best players to your team. A small investment of real money can transform into an exponential improvement for your squad.

Without further ado, here are the highlights of this Madden Ultimate Team roster update # 17:
